Week 9 NFL Picks

The Kansas City Chiefs are the NFL’s final unbeaten team, but it seems like the last week all I’ve heard about from (non-Chiefs fans) is how they haven’t been able to cover the last two weeks!

Yes, each of those games I picked the Chiefs and thought they were among the best best of the week. And yes, this week Kansas City faces a line (-3) that seems like it should help you stay on the winning track this weekend.

But after my first batch of losers (6-7) for the first time in a month, I’m starting to think a terrible Thursday night record combined with the Chiefs keeping games a little to close will hold down the overall numbers around here.

Okay, things aren’t that bad and actually for the season we are still looking at a nice cushion sitting 12 games over .500. With some wacky matchups this week (four home dogs, seven games at 3.5 points or less) I actually think there are a lot of good opportunities.

If you aren’t having much luck with your system or just need a little help making some decisions, check out all our picks against the spread.
