Albert, Houston, McCluster Inactive vs. Raiders

The Kansas City Chiefs announced their list of seven inactive players for today’s game against the Oakland Raiders and there weren’t any surprises.

Inactive:

OT Branden Albert, QB Tyler Bray, TE Anthony Fasano, LB Justin Houston, OL Rishaw Johnson, C Eric Kush, WR Dexter McCluster

Albert, Fasano, Houston and McCluster were all ruled out before the Chiefs made the trip out to The Black Hole, so Andy Reid knew he’d need to lean on his depth this week.

Stepping in at left tackle for Albert will be Donald Stephenson, with rookie Eric Fisher starting on the right side. Meanwhile, Sean McGrath starts in place of Fasano.

On special teams it looks like the recently re-signed Chad Hall will fill in for McCluster on punt returns. No one other than McCluster has returned a punt in 2013 and his late developing ankle infection forced the team to bring back Hall instead of promoting someone from the practice squad.
