The Kansas City Chiefs hit the practice field today in Kansas City to prepare for Sunday’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Even though they had a couple unexpected scratches last weekend — Chris Chambers, Tyson Jackson — the Chiefs managed to get all 61 players healthy enough to participate in practice.
For the first time all year, it would appear the Chiefs are going to have their entire team as they envisioned it during training camp line up for a game. Langford has come a long very slowly, so he is the most likely to remain inactive against the Jaguars, but look for the other four players to contribute.
How odd will it be to see O’Callaghan on the right side of the line? He’ll be a little rusty, but it will be good to finally get this offensive line together and moving forward, even if it’s a couple months late.
It’s really amazing that any NFL team can be this far into the season without having to hold anyone out of practice. Don’t get me wrong, the Chiefs paid their dues in the preseason with the injuries to Cameron Sheffield and Maurice Leggett, but it’s unreal that they are at full strength and it’s not coming off a bye.
