Three Chiefs Ruled Out Vs. Bengals

The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium and Romeo Crennel has ruled three players out on his final injury report.

Jon Asamoah, Jon Baldwin and Jake O’Connell will all sit out against the Bengals. Asamoah is dealith with a thumb injury, while Baldwin sufferred a head injury late in last week’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and O’Connell’s ankle is keeping him on the sidelines.

Baldwin and O’Connell’s injuries will mean more snaps for Steve Breaston and Steve Maneri, while things aren’t nearly as clear on the offensive line. Russ Hochstein will start at guard if Asamoah is the offensive lineman out, but with starting center Ryan Lilja questionable, we could potentially see Eric Winston at guard and rookie Donald Stephenson at right tackle.

Obviously there could be some big time trouble along the Chiefs offensive line.

Other starters on the final injury report are Dontari Poe and Dwayne Bowe, who are both probable and should be able to play Sunday.

The Bengals have nine players on their final injury report, including four either questionable or doubtful.
