Berry To Honor Fellow Volunteer With New Number

After wearing No. 14 throughout his college career, Chiefs safety Eric Berry will be honoring former Volunteer Inky Johnson by wearing No. 29 in the pros, according to his agent (via GoVolsXtra.com).

Johnson suffered a devastating shoulder injury in 2006.  He currently holds a position in the Tennessee development office after serving on the staffs of both Phil Fulmer and Lane Kiffin.

I would expect those new jerseys to be up for sale on kcchiefs.com shortly.

Due to league rules, Berry had to choose a number between 20 and 49.
