The Buffalo Bills have signed former Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Marlon Favorite.
The 6-foot-1, 317-pounder spent the 2009 season on the practice squads of St. Louis, Kansas City, Seattle and New Orleans.
Favorite entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Carolina on May 1, 2009.
Favorite appeared in 40 games, making 17 starts at LSU and was a member of the Tigers’ 2007 national championship team.
It’s not unusual to see a new head coach — in this case Chan Gailey — sign players from his former team except in this case Gailey was already fired by the time Favorite joined the Chiefs.
This kid has all the physical tools and hopefully will get a full look by the Bills before he has to try and catch on with yet another team.
