Brandon Flowers Practices Fully With Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs continued their preparations for the Buffalo Bills on Thursday and for the first time since early in training camp they were able to practice with CB Brandon Flowers.
After missing all of the preseason and last week’s regular season opener with a foot injury, Flowers was a full participant Thursday. Also upgraded was fellow cornerback Jalil Brown, though he was able to play in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
The rest of the Chiefs injury report was the same as it was the day before. DE Allen Bailey, S Kendrick Lewis and NT Anthony Toribio were still limited while WR Devon Wylie was unable to participate at all with a hamstring issue.
Head coach Romeo Crennel would love to get the depth back along the defensive line at at safety, but Flowers is really the only name that matters at this point. The Chiefs secondary was absolutely destroyed by the Falcons without Flowers and need to make sure Stevie Johnson and the Buffalo Bills aren’t able to do the same thing.
