Fresh off their bye week, the Kansas City Chiefs are once again one of the healthiest teams in the league. Every player on the roster participated in Wednesday’s practice as Andy Reid’s squad prepares to take on the Denver Broncos.
Even though the news surrounding WR Dwayne Bowe this week has had to do with his arrest over the weekend, there is a bright spot. After missing practice time three weeks ago and spending time on the injury report two weeks back, Bowe was not listed Wednesday.
Also missing from the injury report is RB Jamaal Charles, who was forced to sit out practice leading up to the Buffalo Bills game.
Of the seven players that did make it onto the Chiefs injury report this week, only WR Dexter McCluster and DE Mike Catapano were limited. The other five were all full participants, leaving Kansas City in great shape for Sunday night.
The Broncos injury report is almost double at 13 and is headlined by QB Peyton Manning, who did not participate due to an ankle injury suffered last week. Manning was on the field for the walk-through portion and his head coach believes he’ll play.
“No doubt in mind there,” interim head coach Jack Del Rio said. “He participated a little bit in walkthrough today and then got some extra treatment and extra work. But no, he’ll be ready to roll.”
