When the Kansas City Chiefs welcome the Cleveland Browns to Arrowhead Stadium Sunday, they just might have all hands on deck.
At the beginning of the week, head coach Andy Reid told reporters there weren’t any injuries to talk about. Unfortunately, that changed when WR Dwayne Bowe was limited by a groin injury that eventually forced him off the practice field altogether on Friday.
Thankfully, there are reports that Bowe will be able to play Sunday, but he was still listed as questionable by the team, which means there’s a 50-50 chance he will suit up. An inconsistent passing attack would be hard pressed to replace the threat Bowe presents to opposing defenses.
Joining Bowe as questionable is starting safety Kendrick Lewis, though he’s bothered by an ankle injury. Lewis is also expected to play, but any setback during warmups could push reserve safety Husain Abdullah into a much bigger role.
The remaining six Chiefs on the injury report are all probable and only TE Anthony Fasano was limited in practice Friday. It would be an upset if any of those players aren’t able to go on Sunday.
