Dwayne Bowe Added To Chiefs Injury Report

The Kansas City Chiefs started off the week preparing for the Cleveland Browns with a near perfect injury report. However, a day later they’ve added one of their biggest offensive weapons and downgraded a starter on defense.

A groin injury put WR Dwayne Bowe on the Chiefs injury report Thursday as a limited participant. You never want to see a player added during the week, but it’s especially discouraging to see him anything less than a full participation.

If Bowe isn’t able to practice fully Friday, he could be questionable tor Sunday’s game. For an offense that has had trouble moving the ball consistently in the air, losing Bowe would be a huge blow.

Also taking a step backwards on Thursday was S Kendrick Lewis. He had been a limited participant on Wednesday, but was unable to practice Thursday because of a nagging ankle injury. If he is unable to go, defensive coordinator Bob Sutton would have Hussain Abdullah shoulder a much bigger role.

The Browns also had players head in the wrong direction on Thursday. RB Willis McGahee went from a full participant to not being able to practice.
