The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of 8 inactive players for today’s game against the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium.
WR Dexter McCluster, CB Jackie Bates, S Reshard langford, LB Charlie Anderson, LB Justin Cole, DL Anthony Toribio, RG Ryan Lilja and LB Mark Simoneau.
For the second week in a row, both Tyson Jackson and Ryan O’Callaghan are active and should be be as close to 100% as possible. It’s also good to see that Chris Chambers has joined them and will get a chance to play his way out of Todd Haley’s doghouse.
We should also see which fullback the Chiefs feel more confident in with both Tim Castille and Mike Cox active for the first time this season.
Also of note, rookie Verran Tucker is active for the second week in a row and even with Chambers being back on the field he could get another look on offense and not just exclusively on special teams.
The two big inactives obviously are McCluster and Lilja. McCluster we expected to miss today’s game and potentially multiple games, but the expectation was that Lilja would b e able to go at right guard. Keep your eye on the right side of the line to see how much the offense puts on rookie Jon Asamoah’s plate in his first career start.
