If Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles is going to get one step closer to being on the cover of Madden ’12, it appears he will need quite the surge in voting this weekend. Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is leading the way in round three, per The Pitch.
At last word, Hillis reportedly had a 58 percent to 42 percent lead over Charles. Charles really wants to be on the cover. He’s taken to Twitter to get his 21,000-plus followers to rally behind him (although no one would blame Chiefs fans for not voting because of the Madden Curse).
ESPN is not giving current standings, but you can still go and vote for if you want to help push Charles past Hillis. It looks like Aaron Rodgers is going to win his showdown with Danny Woodhead, meaning you may be helping Charles move forward just to lose out to the Super Bowl MVP.
Vote while you can and catch the final results on Monday.
