Kansas City Chiefs 53-Man Roster Prediction 2.0

First cuts — and the first real shaping of the final 53-man roster — are just a week away. Head coach Andy Reid and GM John Dorsey will have some tough decisions to make after this weekend’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

We can try to anticipate what some of those decisions will be after seeing how players have been used through the first two weeks of the preseason.

In addition to the jobs available at the bottom of the roster, there’s almost always a big surprise when the final cuts come around.

Did we find the right mix of moves here?

  1. I’m not sure, given how weak the wr corp is I’d try and find a spot for rico richardson. Aside from that I would agree.

  2. With that said I guess one less lb so remove darin drakeford for me if it were my list.

  3. I think we move one of the ol to make room for Richardson. Move another for commings. I know he has been working out at safety but why not put him in as cb4 (once he gets back from his injury) since were so deep at safety and brown is a liability in coverage. Move one lb for Austen lane. Lane would be a good addition for our sub packages if what they say about him killing it in camp is true.

  4. Mike Catapano had a great camp had a minor setback with a calf strain.. Returned and had a real good contribution in Pittsburgh game… Coaches love him as he is a hybrid.. DL with Speed. Nothing new him being the underdog… He will make the team after a dominant game tonight.
