Chiefs Avoid Blackout

Even though there are still tickets available for Sunday’s Chiefs-Giants game at Arrowhead Stadium, there will not be a local TV blackout.

Sunday’s game will be on live TV in Kansas City, extending the Chiefs’ long streak of what the NFL considers a “sellout”.

The Oct. 11th game against the Cowboys already appears to be sold out.

That means all eyes will now be on Oct. 25th when the San Diego Chargers come to town.  While I fully expect the Chiefs to sell the game out (by NFL standards anyway) and avoid a blackout, it will be quite the task if the team is sitting at 0-6.  Hard to move tickets when a team goes half a season without a victory.
