The Kansas City Chiefs continued to change the roster at the bottom, adding two players off waivers on Tuesday. CB Buddy Jackson was claimed from the New York Giants, while OT Matt Reynolds had been with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jackson was a teammate of Chiefs receiver Jonathan Baldwin at Pittsburgh and went undrafted last year. He spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins and Giants. Jackson will join a crowded defensive backfield that head coach Andy Reid and GM John Dorsey have gone to great lengths to improve.
Reid is familiar with Reynolds who spent all season on the Eagles practice squad. Before he made his way to Philadelphia, Reynolds was with the Carolina Panthers during training camp after going undrafted out of BYU. He should have the advantage when it comes to snagging one of the Chiefs practice squad spots.
