The Kansas City Chiefs announced their seven inactive players for today’s game against the Indianapolis Colts at Arrowhead Stadium and they’ll once again be without two starters.
OT Branden Albert, QB Tyler Bray, LB Justin Houston, DT Jaye Howard, LB Nico Johnson, OL Rishaw Johnson, C Eric Kush
Both Albert and Houston were able to practice this week despite knee and elbow injuries, respectively, but both will stay on the sidelines. Head coach Andy Reid listed both as questionable, though Houston did a bit more during practice this week.
With just one more game left in the regular season, it’s not crazy to think both will sit until the postseason.
There are two players the Chiefs will be happy to get back in the lineup: WR Dexter McCluster and TE Anthony Fasano. McCluster sat out last week with an infection in his ankle, while Fasano missed two games thanks to a concussion.
None of the other inactive players for Kansas City are a surprise, as the Chiefs are coming down the stretch as one of the more healthy teams in the NFL.
