Last week against the Atlanta Falcons, the Chiefs were without three players. That number is going up for tonight’s game against the Buccaneers. Josh Looney reported on Twitter that Kansas City will be playing without four players.
Brodie Croyle, Kestahn Moore, Jon McGraw and Darryl Harris will all be out.
No surprises here and it means that both Pittsburgh quarterbacks — Tyler Palko and Bill Stull — will see plenty of action tonight. The longer Croyle’s injury lingers, the more likely the team is to keep three quarterbacks which means this is a huge game for Palko and Stull.
McGraw being out will give Kendrick Lewis an extended look with the first team defense along with plenty of chances for guys like DaJuan Morgan to prove they belong at this level.
It’s a shame that Moore and Harris continue to be unable to go. They were both impressive early on in training camp, but are losing the little equity they built up as they sit on the sidelines.
