Chiefs Add Fifth Player To Injury Report vs. Jets

The Kansas City Chiefs started their preparation for the New York Jets with three players on their injury report.  After adding a fourth player on Thursday, they added a fifth on Friday.

A chest injury suffered by Wallace Gilberry made him a last minute addition, joining Jovan Belcher, Kyle Orton, Casey Wiegmann and Demorrio Williams.  The injury isn’t expected to keep Gilberry out of Sunday’s game as he is listed as “probable” along with Wiegmann.  Belcher and Williams are “questionable” while Orton is “doubtful”.

With Ricky Stanzi taking the snaps in practice behind Tyler Palko this week after dislocating his finger against the Chicago Bears, it appears Orton won’t get his second chance to hit the field for the Chiefs this week.

Of the Jets 16 players on their injury report, 12 are “probable”, three are “questionable” and one — DT Mike Devito — is “doubtful”.
