Chiefs Missing Just One Player Due To Injury

The Kansas City Chiefs returned to the practice field for the first time this season after a loss as they prepare to take on the Houston Texans.  The might not be undefeated anymore, but the Chiefs on the verge of having a completely healthy roster with only one player missing from practice due to an injury.

Did Not Practice
Reshard Langford
Dustin Colquitt

Full Participant
Tyson Jackson
Ryan O’Callaghan

Colquitt was absent from practice, but it was due to an illness, not injury.  He should be back in plenty of time to play Sunday against Houston.

Langford missed practice last week as he recovers from an ankle injury and did not travel with the team to Indianapolis.  It would be an upset at this point if he were active against the Texans.

It finally looks like the Chiefs will have the services of Jackson and O’Callaghan, which would be a huge boost to both lines.

Jackson has been out since injuring his knee against the Chargers on Monday Night Football and was close to being active against the Colts.  He should be able to shuffle back into the starting lineup opposite Glenn Dorsey and split time with the impressive Shaun Smith.

We haven’t seen O’Callaghan all season, so it will be interesting to see how quickly he gels with the rest of the line.  Remember, the Chiefs are already the league’s third best rushing team so the bar has been set very high for his return.  For the first time all season, Kansas City looks poised to have actual depth at every position along the offensive line.
