The Kansas City Chiefs have released their seven gameday inactives for Sunday’s matchup against the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. Headlining this week’s group is Glenn Dorsey, who will miss his fourth straight game.
DE Glenn Dorsey, S Tysyn Hartman, LB Bryan Kehl, TE Steve Maneri, C Bryan Mattison, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Devon Wylie
Dorsey being unable to go means the Chiefs once again will be playing shorthanded on the defensive line. The team listed Dorsey as “questionable” but there was some hope the Kansas City defensive line could finally get back to full strength.
RB Peyton Hillis is active after missing the last three weeks and his spot on the inactive list is taken by Maneri, who was “questionable” after being limited in practice.
With Dorsey and Maneri both sitting out, CB Jalil Brown is the only Chiefs player the team listed as “questionable” that is active against the Raiders.
With Matt Cassel back healthy, he is active and ready to go behind starter Brady Quinn. That pushes Ricky Stanzi back to being inactive.
