Don’t look now, but we know when the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs season will officially get rolling. The team announced Thursday training camp will begin on Friday, July 27 at Missouri Western State University.
The third straight Chiefs training camp held in St. Joseph is scheduled to wrap up on Thursday, August 16 with a 3:20 p.m. practice.
All practices held outdoors at MWSU are open to the public, including the annual night practice on Tuesday, July 31. All walk-throughs and practices held indoors will be closed.
Chiefs fans will also be able to take part in Family Fun Day during training camp. This year it will be on Saturday, August 4.
We are exactly five weeks away from seeing the Chiefs back in pads and getting ready to reclaim the AFC West title. So while you are forced to watch highlights of LeBron James and the Miami Heat over the next week, just keep reminding yourself that the NFL is coming to save us all!
