Five Chiefs Unable To Practice

Last week the Kansas City Chiefs injury report was ten deep, but when game day rolled around, only two of their injured players were unable to play. Romeo Crennel will need the same sort of luck this weekend with his injury report growing to 11 players.

Among those dealing with injuries, five were unable to practice, including starters Branden Albert, Dwayne Bowe and Ryan Lilja.

Bowe has already been ruled out for this week and according to reports will be placed on injured reserve shortly, ending his season and maybe his Chiefs career. Lilja was able to play last week despite nagging injuries, while Albert shared time at left tackle with rookie Donald Stephenson.

Other starters to keep an eye on are Jon Asamoah, Eric Berry, Brandon Flowers, Derrick Johnson and Kendrick Lewis. Flowers and Johnson were limited on Wednesday, but the other three were full participants and should be good to go on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

Lewis missed the last two games with a shoulder injury he suffered at the end of the Denver Broncos game on November 25 when he threw himself into a pile of players.

The Raiders injury report currently stands at eight players, including Darren McFadden, Richard Seymour and Michael Huff.
