The Kansas City Chiefs will celebrate the one week anniversary Friday of WR Dwayne Bowe signing his one-year franchise tender by playing him against the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Romeo Crennel told reporters Wednesday his No. 1 receiver would see “a couple of plays here and there”.
“I don’t think he’s ready to play a whole game or anything like that,” Crennel added.
As we talked about earlier in the week, if Bowe is unable to go 100% it would have been better to keep him on the sidelines. Let him focus on learning the playbook inside and out so he’s fully prepared when he puts the pads on.
But I have to admit, it will be good to finally see Matt Cassel, Jamaal Charles, Jon Baldwin and Bowe on the field together again.
