Colts List 17 On Injury Report

While the Kansas City Chiefs only have 3 players on their current injury report, the Indianapolis Colts are in a much more difficult position with their injury situation.  Following their practice today, the Colts listed 17 on their practice report.

Full Participation
RB Joseph Addai (Knee)
LB Gary Brackett (Back)
WR Pierre Garcon (Hamstring)
WR Anthony Gonzalez (Ankle)
OT Charlie Johnson (Foot)
DB Brandon King (Hamstring)
DB Jerraud Powers (Foot)
OG Jamey Richard (Shoulder)
LB Clint Session (Hamstring)

Did Not Participate
DB Antoine Bethea (Hamstring)
RB Donald Brown (Hamstring)
WR Austin Collie (Foot)
LB Kavell Conner (Foot)
DE Dwight Freeney (Rested)
DB Jacob Lacey (Foot)
DB Bob Sanders (Biceps)
WR Reggie Wayne (Knee)

Wow.

Okay, so 9 of the players practiced fully and Freeney was simply given the day off, if you want to look at things that way.  Even still, the Colts more than double the Chiefs entire injury report just with the players that did not practice due to an injury.

We know that Sanders is out indefinitely and potentially for the entire season, so put him to the side.  The most important names on the list are Collie and Manning’s favorite target Wayne.  The WR duo combined for 20 catches and 235 yards last week against Jacksonville — or 9 more yards than Matt Cassel accumulated in the first two games of the season combined.
