It was odd enough last week to see the Kansas City Chiefs hit the road as favorites. After all, the Chiefs hadn’t experienced being favored on a road trip since November 28, 2010.
Now we get to see another rare occurrence: favorites two weeks in a row!
The Chiefs will make their 2013 home debut this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys and are currently 3 point favorites. This marks the first time the Chiefs went two straight regular season weeks as favorites since Week 17 of 2010 and the opening game of 2011.
Even those back to back games were split up by a home playoff matchup that found Kansas City as underdogs to the Baltimore Ravens.
When they come to Arrowhead, the Cowboys will still be recovering from injuries suffered in their 36-31 victory over the New York Giants. QB Tony Romo took a nasty hit to the ribs and WR Dez Bryant sprained his foot. Both are expected to play Sunday, but should help keep the line from creeping too far back towards the Cowboys.
