Albert Doubtful On Chiefs Final Injury Report
When the Kansas City Chiefs take on Von Miller and the Denver Broncos defense Sunday, they could be without their startling left tackle. Branden Albert headlines a short injury report for Romeo Crennel’s crew.
Albert is doubtful with a back injury, which could mean rookie Donald Stephenson could be tasked with trying to protect current quarterback Brady Quinn’s blind side.
The offensive line could have more issues if starters Jon Asamoah and Ryan Lilja are unable to play. Both are questionable thanks to ankle and knee injuries, respectively.
If Quinn’s protections break down, he should still have the services of wide receivers Dwayne Bowe and Jon Baldwin. Both missed time this week, but are both probable.
The Broncos injury report is barely longer than the Chiefs and every player is probable except one, CB Omar Bolden.
