The Kansas City Chiefs announced their inactives and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is among them.
Bowe came up with a hamstring injury earlier in the week and was listed as questionable for the game.
Also inactive are Derrick Johnson, Quinten Lawrence, Matt Gutierrez, Ricardo Colclough, Jake O’Connell and Pierre Walters. Tyler Thigpen is the inactive third quarterback.
The Eagles have all three of their healthy QBs active, meaning they have eight inactive players: Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Dimitri Patterson, Quintin Demps, Mike McGlynn, Todd Herremans, Kevin Curtis and Jason Babin.
Both teams are dealing with big time injuries. The Chiefs defense get a break not having to deal with Westbrook and Curtis, but their offense has to move the ball without their best offensive weapon? I hope Larry Johnson is ready to carry the team this week, because there might not be any other way for Kansas City to move the ball, especially in the rain.
The other surprise on the inactive list is Lawrence. He seemed to be making real progress and without an injury I have to wonder why he will be watching the game from the sidelines in street clothes.
