Former Chief Re-Ups In CFL

Former Chiefs DB Will Poole has signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL after spending the last two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts.

“Will… will bring speed and aggressiveness to our defence,” said general manager Bob O’Billovich.

Poole, a 5-10, 194-pound native of Beckley, West Virginia, has recorded 70 defensive tackles, one quarterback sack, three tackles for losses and two interceptions in two seasons as an Argo.  The former USC Trojan was a fourth-round draft pick of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins in 2004 and also attended training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007.

He also spend a few months on the Chiefs roster in 2008 after his first stint with the Argonauts.

Yes, things are very slow right now.
