Former Chiefs Tackle Starting For Jaguars

Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Herb Taylor is the perfect example of a journeyman. Since he played in all 16 games for the Chiefs in 2008, Taylor has traveled all over the country looking to find his way back to gameday.

After jumping across the division to the Denver Broncos in 2009, Taylor has made stops with the New York Giants, Las Vegas Locomotives of the UFL, Broncos again, Green Bay packers and now the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He has yet to play in an NFL game since his days with the Chiefs in 2008 but that will all change today, when Taylor isn’t just active for the Jags but starting at right guard, his second career NFL start.

It shows that perseverance pays off in this league! Or that the Jaguars are in a terrible place with their offensive line. Either way, congrats to the man affectionately dubbed by the Chiefs broadcast team as “The Love Bug”.
