In a break from the non-stop draft news, word has come down from the CFL that former Chief Jeff Webb has signed with the Toronto Argonauts.
Webb was taken in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL draft by Kansas City, and had 28 catches for 313 yards and a TD for the Chiefs in 2007.
The six-foot-two San Diego State alum dressed in just four regular-season games for the Chiefs in 2008, and was released by the team last August.
Toronto kicks off its regular season July 1 against the Calgary Stampeders.
Hopefully Scott Pioli will be drafting a player this weekend with a little more staying power than Webb had with the Chiefs.
