Baldwin, Flowers Headline Chiefs Injury Report
The Kansas City Chiefs released their first injury report for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings and there was one familiar name: Jonathan Baldwin. The rookie has appeared on every injury report so far this season after injuring his thumb in a locker room altercation with Thomas Jones.
The rest of the players were new additions from last week: DE Brandon Bair, CB Brandon Flower and S Jon McGraw.
After he left last week’s game against the San Diego Chargers with an ankle injury, it’s not a surprise that Flowers is on the report. However, it is a great sign for the Kansas City defense that he was able to get on the practice field at all. He was reported to have suffered a high ankle sprain, something that is highly unlikely to allow someone to play just a week later.
LB Tamba Hali and DE Wallace Gilberry were left off the injury report after spending time on it last week.
