Super Bowl Odds: Chiefs Far From Favorites

The Kansas City Chiefs could eventually be the favorites to win the AFC West next season, but right now they own the longest odds in the division to win next year’s Super Bowl.

Before last season, the Chiefs Super Bowl odds were 40/1 and the first look for the 2012 season have the team as even longer shots. Bovada currently lists Kansas City’s odds as 50/1, 20th in the NFL, tied with four other teams, including division rivals Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.

The San Diego Chargers once again own the best odds within the division at 16/1, good for 9th in the league. Not too shabby for a team that has done nothing but choke the last two seasons and still have Norv Turner running the show.

If you believe a coaching change and better health will be enough for the Chiefs, it might not be a bad idea to throw down a few hundred bucks down on your favorite team.
