Seven Chiefs Questionable Vs. Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs final injury report for Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers is out and 11 players listed, including six starters.

Tight end Kevin Boss is still recovering from a nasty blow to the head in the Buffalo Bills game and is the only Chiefs player “out”, while running back Peyton Hillis is “doubtful” with an ankle injury he suffered in last week’s victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Seven of the Chiefs players on the final injury report were designated as “questionable” for Sunday’s game. Included are wide receivers Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston and Dexter McCluster, making Jon Baldwin the only Kansas City receiver to catch a pass this season not on listed on the injury report.

Also “questionable” is DE Glenn Dorsey, the most recent addition to the Chiefs injury report. Dorsey did not participate in practice on Friday, but did get work in earlier in the week, giving him a chance to contribute Sunday.

Sunday could see the return of Jake O’Connell, who missed last week’s game and was replaced in the lineup by fourth-string tight end Steve Maneri.

For the Chargers, they will be visiting Arrowhead with an injury report featuring just six players. Included on final injury report for San Diego are former Chiefs players Jared Gaither and Demorrio Williams. They are listed as “questionable” and it would be an upset if they were both able to play against the Chiefs.
