Curtis Takes Chambers’ Spot On Active Roster

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of eight inactive players for today’s Wild Card playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.  The surprise here is Kevin Curtis — added this week — taking the spot of Chris Chambers on the active roster.

WR Quinten Lawrence, FB Mike Cox, S Reshard Langford, LB Charlie Anderson, C Rudy Niswanger, WR Chris Chambers, DL Anthony Toribio and QB Tyler Palko.

What a wile ride for Curtis.  From thinking his season was over five days ago to playing in a playoff game over a guy that has been on this team for over a year.  Remind me why Chambers is still a member of the Chiefs if he a player here for less than a week can take his spot?

The rest of the list is about what we all expected.  Palko goes back to the third quarterback meaning whatever was ailing Brodie Croyle last week is no longer an issues.

I’d rather see Mike Cox in instead of Tim Castille, but if Kansas City’s biggest issue today ends up being at fullback, things will be just fine today.
