Lamar Hunt Documentary To Debut This Week

This week you will have an opportunity to see a documentary that will chronicle just why Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt has been inducted into eight different halls of fame.  The screening is free and will be at the Kansas City Public Library.

On Thursday, January 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St. a documentary of the same name, Games, explores the sporting life of Hunt, and focuses on his legacy as an innovator and a man revered for his humility and gracious manner.

The film, produced by NFL Films, will be introduced by Kansas City Chiefs team historian Bob Moore.

The presentation is free. Call 816.701.3407 to RSVP.

Out of the thousands of amazing stories surrounding the history of this great league, I would argue that Hunt’s deserves to be in the top 5.  He knew what he wanted, how to make the game better and nothing was going to stand in his way.

This film looks to be a must-watch for not only all Chiefs fans, but fans of sports, period.
