Chiefs Rookie Added To Injury Report
The Kansas City Chiefs injury report for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers grew by one Thursday with the addition of rookie RB Cyrus Gray.
Gray was sick and unable to practice, bringing the Chiefs list of injured players to 11, well ahead of the Bucs four. On top of adding Gray, there were also two changes on the injury report, both downgrades.
WR Jon Baldwin was a limited participant Wednesday, but his hamstring forced him to the sidelines on Thursday. Unless he can improve in the Chiefs final practice of the week, QB Brady Quinn will be without one of his best weapons in his first start.
The other downgrade on the injury report was expected. That was QB Matt Cassel being officially listed as “Out” due to the concussion he suffered against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Bucs injury report included one addition — DT Roy Miller — and one upgrade — CB Eric Wright from limited to full participation.
