Michael Vick Will Play Sunday
Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg revealed the worst kept secret in the NFL today: Michael Vick will play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“He’ll play. How much we’ll see as the week goes on. I think he’s in top physical condition. We’ll see how he handles a few things we have in for him.”
If Donovan McNabb (cracked rib) cannot play, then Kevin Kolb will start his second career game with Vick coming in to play in a Wildcat spread, though he still has not been named the No. 2 quarterback. There have been no temptations about possibly starting Vick.
“I would question him handling a whole ball game, although I do think he’s in top physical condition, although he has not played in a while.”
Get ready for the “Michael Vick Show”, folks… It’s coming.
