News: Chiefs Announce Training Camp Schedule

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday the dates for the club’s training camp at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.  The Chiefs have called UW-River Falls their training camp home since ’91 and pending completion of their new deal with Missouri Western State University, 2009 will be their last.

The Chiefs are schedule to break camp on Thursday, August 20th, the day before their second preseason game.  More information on specific practice times and dates for training camp will be announced at a later date.

It’s crazy to think that the Chiefs are going into their 19th season holding training camp at UW-River Falls.  And for as long as I can remember I’ve been saying “Aww, I’ll go next year.”  It looks like if I end up going to training camp I will be headed to Missouri and not Wisconsin.  If you make the trip, send your photos over and I’ll post them up here for everyone to check out.
