News: Chiefs sign Mike Goff

The Chiefs added another veteran to their lineup today, coming to terms with 11-year NFL veteran Mike Goff.  Goff has been with the San Diego Chargers for the past five seasons and hasn’t started in less than 16 games since 2002 when he was with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Looks like the Kansas City Chiefs have found a new starting guard or center and I’m sure no one is happier than Matt Cassel.  These are the kinds of moves the Chiefs should have been making the past couple years.  You build with young players, but you hold them together with solid veterans like Goff.  He has been the exact opposite of the Chiefs offense: consistent.
