News: Chiefs, Tyson Jackson Come To Terms

The Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms with their first round pick DE Tyson Jackson, according to National Football Post and 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City.

The deal with Jackson is said to be for five years and will make pay him the highest annual salary in team history.

No. 2 pick Jason Smith signed a deal with the St. Louis Rams that guarantees him $33 million on his six year deal.

And with that the Chiefs are finally at full strength!  Hopefully Jackson has been working out this whole time and is as close to being in football shape as possible.  If he can jump back into his starting DE spot and be ready to play against the Houston Texans, the holdout will not have been that bad.  But if he shows up in Glenn Dorsey-esque shape, it could be some time before he suits up for the Chiefs in a game.
