“It doesn’t impact Larry one bit with the Kansas City Chiefs and wanting to win the 2009 Super Bowl. This matter’s a business decision. His entire focus is on working hard to be the best member of the Kansas City Chiefs he can be.”
I hate repeating myself, but I still believe the Chiefs will trade (unlikely) or release Johnson in the coming weeks. Kansas City clearly wants to move on and LJ obviously wants to be “the man” getting paid big money elsewhere. When two sides want a divorce, the best solution is an end to the union. Even if both parties are still publicly denying there’s a rift.
