Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report Doubles

When the San Diego Chargers visit Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football to take on the Kansas City Chiefs there will be quite the difference between how many injuries each team is dealing with.

A day after listing 10 players on their injury report, the Chargers added former Kansas star Darrell Stuckey to bring the amount of “officially” ailing players to 11.

The most notable change — other than adding Stuckey — was TE Antonio Gates moving from full participant to did not participate. Reports out of San Diego say he was just given a day off, but it’s always worth keeping your eye on the injury-prone star.

For the Chiefs part, they doubled the amount of players on their report.  Though in their case that meant just adding one player, RB Dexter McCluster.

McCluster wasn’t at practice for the Chiefs as he was excused due to personal reasons, but should be good to go on Monday night.

Both teams will have to declare the status of each player on Saturday and that’s when we will get a better idea of how many of the Chargers players will actually have a chance to miss the nationally televised game with the AFC West lead on the line.
