Our free NFL picks against the spread were well over .500 last season, making the slow start out of the gate in Week 1 a bit harder to take. Not only were we off the mark on Thursday night last week, but were a rough 1-4-1 early on.
Luckily things turned as the day went along and we recovered to finish with an almost-respectable 7-8-1. Though we once again missed on Thursday night to kick off Week 2, there are enough opportunities for picking up easy wins this weekend that we should be back to looking more like last season’s successes.
When you look at the lines, you’ll notice none of the games left are double digits (Pats were favored by 13 over the Jets) and seven are 4.5 or less.
There are plenty of opportunities to make some noise with the road teams and that has us going with seven of them (four are dogs).
If you are still trying to make some final decisions, hopefully these picks can help you out.
