The Green Bay Packers have signed former Chiefs tight end Tom Crabtree to their practice squad, according to the team’s official site.
A 6-foot-4, 245-pound rookie from Miami (OH), Crabtree was signed by the Chiefs as a UDFA in May.
He spent all of training camp with Kansas City before being part of the final roster cuts on September 5th. Crabtree was then signed to the Chiefs practice squad before being released for good on September 29th.
Crabtree’s teammate at Miami (OH), Jake O’Connell, is still on the Chiefs active roster as the team’s 4th tight end.
