Just days before the Oakland Raiders will take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium they signed one of their former players, DL Daniel Muir. These moves sometimes are made to try and get some intel out of the player, but this isn’t one of them.
Muir was the second player signed by GM John Dorsey and head coach Andy Reid, but was cut in June after they picked up defensive end Austen Lane off waivers.
Muir first started his career as an undrafted free agent with Dorsey’s Green Bay Packers in 2007 and we wondered if that connection could help him find his way back to Kansas City again. Instead, it’s another former Packer, current Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie, giving the defensive lineman another chance.
After spending last season with the New York Jets and part of this offseason with the Chiefs, Muir tried to catch on with the Houston Texans.
