Four Chiefs Questionable On Final Injury Report
When the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Diego Chargers Thursday night, they could be without several key players.
On top of the two Chiefs ruled “out” earlier in the week — QB Brady Quinn and RB Nate Eachus — they also listed four as “questionable”, including starters DE Glenn Dorsey and CB Stanford Routt.
Dorsey has missed the last four games with a calf injury, while Routt was a new addition to the injury report this week with a hamstring issue. After the way his former team manhandled him last week, it’s surprising Routt’s injury isn’t listed as “bruised ego”.
Also “questionable” is special teams standout WR Terrance Copper. Kansas City is already saddled with the worst coverage units in the league, so they can little afford to be without the services of the veteran Copper.
San Diego is listed seven players on their final injury report, with their biggest issues at wide receiver. Eddie Royal is “doubtful” and Robert Meachem “questionable” after they both missed the Chargers final practice of the week with hamstring injuries. Lack of depth at wide receiver could push former Missouri star Danario Alexander into action.
