Former Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli started making the media rounds leading up to the Super Bowl and landed a job with the NFL Network as a part of their draft coverage.
Now comes word he has signed on to work in the world of radio with SiriusXM NFL Radio, according to Fox Sports.
Pioli’s duties as an analyst will start Thursday at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and continue on various SiriusXM NFL shows throughout 2013, per the report.
If he’s committing to work on the channel during the season, it would be the first solid indicator Pioli will not be returning to a front office job before 2014. With plenty of friends throughout the league (most of all in New England) he would have no problem jumping right back in to a player personnel gig if he wanted to get back on the horse right away.
You can listen to Pioli on SiriusXM channel 88.
