Scouts Inc: Final Seven Round Mock

As they do every year, Scouts Inc. completed a full seven round mock draft for ESPN.com hours before the first card is due to be handed over to Roger Goodell.  Todd McShay and his staff feel Scott Pioli will split the first four selections between offense and defense.

5. Eric Berry, S, Tennessee

Offensive tackle is Kansas City’s top need, and Iowa’s Bryan Bulaga has been considered a safe bet because of the relationship his college coach, Kirk Ferentz, has with Chiefs GM Scott Pioli. We don’t think Bulaga is worth this pick, though, and a dynamic playmaker like Berry is a better option than a player with work-ethic questions like Williams.

36. Sean Lee, OLB, Penn State

50. Vladimir Ducasse, G, UMass

68. David Reed, WR, Utah

If Pioli could score Berry, Lee and Ducasse — all likely starters — he would be able to reach for a guy like Reed.

The Utah WR was a high school star in Connecticut, then found his way to a Junior College in California before playing his final two season in Salt Lake City.  He’s a little undersized (6 feet) for guy that isn’t a burner, but he has done nothing but produce everywhere he has ever played.
