The Chicago Tribune’s Sam Farmer has put together a mock draft with beat writers selecting for the team they cover. So he called up The Kansas City Star’s Adam Teicher to get his take on what the Chiefs will do at No. 5.
Chiefs: S Eric Berry, Tennessee.
“It’s been close to 10 years since the Chiefs have had a playmaking safety in the secondary.”
There seem to be only three names connected to the Chiefs: Berry, OT Russell Okung and OT Bryan Bulaga. Since none of these mocks/reports are written by Scott Pioli there could be a wild card out there – OT Trent Williams, DT Dan Williams – but all signs certainly point to one of “the big three” being a Kansas City Chief this time two weeks from now.
