The Kansas City Chiefs brought their training camp roster to one short of the limit by waiving CB Buddy Jackson.
After catching on with the Indianapolis Colts for training camp last season as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh, Jackson spent time on the Washington Redskins practice squad. He moved onto the New York Giants, which is where the Chiefs claimed him from back in May.
Jackson was injured while practicing with the rookies last week, but was quickly able to get back on the field for the full squad camp practices.
With a crowd at cornerback, the Chiefs will likely use the open roster spot to help at a position of need. Expect to see that move made before Kansas City’s next practice Thursday morning.
